| Welcome to the webhome of Kinghill's miniature pinschers! | |

My interest towards dogs got started very early in life: my
grandmother had golden retrievers, who I just loved to be with as a
little girl. I got my first own dog at the age of seventeen, it was a
dobermann female named Dalikan Felicity, "Misty" for short. She was a
dog that I learned a great deal from, because she didn't have the
best of characters: she was rather timid and unreliable. Short after
a german shepherd called "Aida" (Rajaliekin Fanja) joined us, she was
probably the wisest dog I've met to this day. A year later we had
another dobermann: black&tan female Hainide Klea-Keliana, "Pinja"
from Estonia.
Short after Misty traveled to the rainbow bridge I started to entertain a thought of having a little dog. Until then I had been certain, that a small dog cannot have as good a character as working dogs usually have. But then I met some very charming miniature pinschers, that had super characters, and soon I had one myself as well: brown male Fürstenborgh Braveheart, "Elmo" came to live with us at 2000. He was, and still is, THE dog that started my burning interest and love towards this breed! After losing Pinja the dobermann, I didn't consider having another working dog anymore. At 2001 minpin ladies "Tessa" (Fürstenborgh Red Duchess) and "Oona" (Fürstenborgh Fiona) joined our gang. About that time the idea of maybe being a breeder one day got started. And now, some years later, here we are..! My kennel prefix, "Kinghill's" was confirmed at 2003, and at 2004 our first litter was born. At 2004 I was fortuned enough to get two magnificent dogs from Italy: Lucy and Karat v. Kösslbachtal. Together with Lucy and Karat we have Lucy's son Kinghill's Red and loving it, "Arttu", living in our house. I have also few co-owned dogs, that live elsewhere. For me dogs are like family members, and that's why there will never be too many dogs living in our house. In breeding I specially appreciate good character and stabile nerve structure in a dog. Requirements shouldn't be lowered when it comes to the character just because the dog is small in size! Health is of course important as well, but I reckon it's the dog's character that has the most effect into everyday life. Correct breed type is also my guiding light in min pin breeding. For every puppy I naturally want only the best, and I value puppy buyers who can offer a good and lasting home. That is why I'm rather strict when it comes to finding new owners for my puppies, I only sell my pups to homes in which a dog is a wanted and loved member of the family. I have been very fortunate in finding great owners for my puppies, and want to take the time now to give big thanks to you all for taking such good care of your dogs! Our puppies are occasionally sold to foreign breeders as well. Please feel free to contact me for more details. Best regards, Team Kinghill's |
